EWC Community-wide Garage Sale
Saturday, May 9th, 2026, 8am to 3pm
JOIN US FOR A COMMUNITY GARAGE SALE!

Any member planning to participate must complete the Dallas County Garage Sale Permit Application (ONLINE ONLY) HERE.
  • The HOA cannot obtain a blanket permit, as it creates an obligation to collect and remit sales tax; but without the free permit, the City of Dallas may cite, fine, and shut down your Garage Sale.
  • To facilitate, the Board will hold open our front gates from 8am until 3pm on Saturday, May 9, 2026.
  • The Board will make every effort to publicize on the relevant websites and put out signs on Jim Miller.
  • The Board will also check with some organizations (Goodwill, Salvation Army, etc.) to see if they would be willing to do a drive-through and pick up any leftover items you would like to donate, but we have scheduled this year's garage sale the week of Bulk Trash set out so that you may leave unsold/unwanted items on your curb for Bulk Trash pick up the following week.
  • Our By-Laws don't allow for individual garage sales, so we hope you will see this as an excellent opportunity to clean out your closets/garages and monetize, recycle, reuse, and repurpose unwanted items.
  • Should you have any questions, please contact the Board using the Contact page on our website.
We hope to see you out and about to shop with your neighbors or sell some items!
